After visiting Novelty Automation, we had lunch at Eat Tokyo in Holborn. The standout was the sushi. I tried the premium sushi set including sea urchin for the first time and really enjoyed it. Good flavour, good texture and a great place to try it for the first time. Overall, the sushi was very good and easily the best thing we had.
I also had the pork katsu curry. It was fine but forgettable. The rice was decent, the sauce was ok, but the air con was blowing straight onto the table so it went cold fast. The pork was a bit thin and nothing special. My partner had the vegetarian bento box and found it a bit bland. Not bad, just lacking flavour. £60 for three people at lunch in London is good value. Staff were pleasant, nothing more, nothing less. I’d come back for the sushi, not the cooked dishes.
